The Sisters

Two Sisters. One Calling.

We are Valerie and Gina, identical twins with a shared calling. Sweet & Sourdough Sisters is more than a bakery; it is a movement of faith, farming, and fresh food.

From our slow-fermented sourdough to our future plans for hydroponic greens, everything we do is rooted in faith as we build a table where everyone is fed.

Whether you are breaking one of our loaves at your family dinner or enjoying a cookie on the go, our prayer is that you feel the love and intention baked into every bite. We invite you to taste and see the goodness we are cultivating right here in our community.

Our Foundation

Rooted in The Word

The Parable of the Sower

Mark 4:3-8 (NLT)

“Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seed. As he scattered it across his field... still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”

We strive to be the "Good Soil"—growing abundant food and faith for our community.

The Parable of the Yeast

Matthew 13:33 (NLT)

“Jesus also used this illustration: ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.’”

Just like our sourdough starter, a little bit of faith transforms everything it touches.

  • "Give us this day our daily bread." Matthew 6:11
  • "You cause grass to grow for the livestock and plants for people to use... and bread to give them strength." Psalm 104:14-15
  • "Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you." Ecclesiastes 11:1
